Huddersfield’s win in the previous round means they move forward in the Vertu Trophy, unlike holder Peterborough United.
Those left in the draw, including Harrogate Town, the surprise package, will now look to the draw, set to take place this weekend.
The Round of 16 Draw
The draw for the next phase will be shown live on the Sky Sports EFL Show on Saturday, 6 December at 11.45 am, hosted by David Prutton with Wesley Morgan and Curtis Davies alongside him.
The Round of 32 fixtures began earlier this week and will conclude on 9 December when Colchester United face West Ham United U21 in a 7.45 pm kick-off.
Because that tie takes place after the draw, both teams share the same ball number, with the winner dropping into the drawn slot.
The Vertu Trophy remains regionalised at this point with separate Northern and Southern sections. Each club will be paired with an opponent from its own region until the semi-final stage.
Northern Section
- Bolton Wanderers
- Doncaster Rovers
- Fleetwood Town
- Harrogate Town
- Huddersfield Town
